PublicFile Pro brings deadlines, documents, political advertising records, EAS activity, staff assignments and compliance reviews together in one place. Instead of relying on scattered spreadsheets, shared drives, paper logs and individual memory, station personnel can quickly see what is due, what may be missing and what needs attention next. The platform is designed for individual stations as well as multi-station groups. This centralized, easy-to-manage dashboard makes complex compliance workflows significantly faster and easier for teams to oversee.
PublicFile Pro is being offered with a free tier, allowing stations to sign up at no cost, use selected broadcast-compliance tools and receive one comprehensive automated review of a station’s FCC Online Public Inspection File each year. Paid upgrades provide quarterly or monthly public-file reviews, additional automation, cloud monitoring, advanced workflow modules and group-level management capabilities. Free and paid audits use the same underlying regulatory review logic; paid plans primarily add frequency, automation and expanded functionality.
PublicFile Pro is a natural extension of Summit Technology Group’s long-standing work in broadcast regulatory and technical compliance. PublicFile Pro reviews a station’s FCC online public inspection file and identifies records that may be missing, late, incomplete or kept longer than necessary. The station receives a clear, prioritized list of items to review—not a maze of folders and technical data. Every station can receive one complete checkup per year at no cost.
- Keep political advertising paperwork under control. Follow each political order from the initial request through acceptance, airing, invoicing and final reconciliation. Candidate advertising and issue advertising stay in the correct separate workflows, with the proper forms and candidate Lowest Unit Rate (LUR) checks applied where required. Orders, invoices, schedules, certifications and proof of what aired remain together in one complete record.
- Bring EAS logging and weekly review into the cloud. PublicFile Pro collects records from leading EAS devices, including the Sage ENDEC and Digital Alert Systems DASDEC, and organizes tests and alerts automatically.
